How Banged handles information in the iPhone app and on banged.app.

Who we are and what this covers
Banged (“we,” “us”) provides the Banged iPhone app and banged.app. Contact us at support@banged.app about this policy or a privacy request. This policy covers the app, website, and support email. The app does not require a Banged account.
Intimate information you choose to record
You may create sex or solo logs and enter dates, duration, partners, sexual-health details, location or map pins, mood, ratings, notes, profile details, and attachments. These records and the analytics calculated from them are stored on your device. Banged does not operate a partner-sync service or upload intimate logs to a Banged server. Partners entered in the app are local profiles, not connected accounts.
Location, notifications, and widgets
Location access is requested only when you choose to use your current location for a private pin. Notification permission is optional; reminders are scheduled on your device. Widgets and Live Activities can show selected app information on your device, including the Lock Screen, where others nearby may see it. You can change permissions in iOS Settings and disable features in the app.
Apple Health
If you enable Apple Health sync and grant write permission, Banged writes sexual-activity samples containing the date, duration, and protection-used status to Apple Health. Banged does not request read access to Health data. Apple Health is separate from the Banged diary: deleting a Banged log, erasing app data, or uninstalling Banged does not delete samples already saved in Health. To review or delete those samples, use the Health app; you can revoke Banged’s Health access in iOS Health or Settings.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes in-app purchases, subscriptions, payment details, and billing. StoreKit provides the app with product and verified entitlement information needed to unlock access; Banged does not receive your full payment-card details. Subscription terms, prices, and trial eligibility shown at purchase come from Apple. Apple’s own privacy terms also apply to its services.
Website visits and support email
The website does not have a Banged account form, advertising trackers, or analytics cookies in its current implementation. Its hosting provider may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and access logs to deliver and secure the site. If you email support@banged.app, we receive your email address and what you send, and use it to answer and manage your request. Please do not email intimate diary exports unless necessary.
Exports and sharing
If you export a backup, the app creates a readable JSON file containing the information you selected to keep in Banged. You decide where to save or share it. The file may remain in the app’s Documents area and in any destination you choose. A recipient or third-party storage provider then handles its copy under its own terms. Protect and delete exported copies yourself when you no longer need them.
Device security and backups
Banged uses iOS storage, optional Face ID or passcode access controls, and device file protection for exports and restored attachments. Ordinary diary fields are not separately end-to-end encrypted. Secure your device and Apple ID. Banged does not provide its own cloud diary sync, but your iOS device backup settings may include app data in Apple backups; manage backups through Apple.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Diary data remains on your device until you edit, delete, erase it in Banged, or remove the app, subject to device backups. “Erase app data” deletes the app’s local diary database records; it does not erase JSON exports you deliberately created, copies you shared, or Apple Health samples. You can turn off optional permissions in iOS Settings. We cannot retrieve or delete local diary data from a server because we do not hold it. Contact support@banged.app about information sent to support or other requests; applicable rights vary by location.
Adults and other people’s information
Banged is intended for adults. Do not use it if you are below the age of majority where you live. Be considerate of the privacy and rights of anyone mentioned in your records. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal information through the app or website.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product changes. The updated version and date will appear here. Material changes may also be announced in the app or website where appropriate. Questions or privacy requests: support@banged.app.
